Bethany has a Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Since 2009 she has worked on multiple injury prevention projects and research studies at the University of Michigan including managing several pilot studies in the U-M emergency department and C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. In 2010, Bethany became nationally certified as a Child Passenger Safety Technician through Safe Kids Wordwide to educate parents on proper car seat installation techniques.
As the Outreach Project Coordinator, Bethany assists in event planning, implementation of outreach activities, development of website content and design, in addition to the production and dissemination of educational materials and resources to practitioners and the public.
