Dr. Broglio leads national research on sport concussion, focused on improving athlete health and safety through injury prevention, early recognition, and management.  His work has been supported by the National Athletic Trainers' REsearch and Education Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and the Department of Defense.  He was awarded the new investigator award by the National Athletic Trainers'  Association in 2011 and the Early Career Investigator Award by the International Brain Injury Association in 2016.  He was awarded a fellowship in the American College of Sports Medicine in 2014.  Dr. Broglio leads the Center's work in the area of concussion.
