Lunchtime Seminar: What I Did (for Injury Prevention) on My Summer Vacation

Come hear from three Injury Center-funded interns about their experiences working in injury prevention this past summer.  You'll hear from:

  • Dwana Bass, nursing student at Wayne State University, who worked at the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services
  • Courtney Coleman, MPH student at U-M School of Public Health, who worked at the CDC National Center for Injury Prevention and Control
  • Alana Kivowitz, social work student at U-M School of Social Work, who worked at the U-M School of Public Health on policy issues

All have had rich and interesting experiences.  Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about fascinating aspects of injury work from these hard-working interns.
