"Preventing Aggression and Violence through Empathy-building Text Messages" Sara Konrath

Join us for lunch and learning as Sara Konrath, PhD, Assistant Research Professor at the Research Center for Group Dynamics at the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research, presents on the topic of "Preventing Aggression and Violence through Empathy-building Text Messages."  People who score high on dispositional measures of empathy are also less likely to be aggressive and violent. The present study asks the following questions: Is it possible to use text messages to help increase empathy? If so, what are the implications for aggression and violence prevention?

Register at the link below.  Lunch will be provided for those who register by noon on April 29.

We look forward to seeing you there.  (Note that we are meeting in a different room than past lunchtime seminars.  Just a few doors down.)
