A challenge for the injury prevention field is to translate new evidence-based interventions into practice. The purpose of the Issues and Solutions series, developed by the University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center, is to provide information on priority injury topics, paired with evidenced-based prevention programs that practitioners can implement. The series is designed to bridge the gap between injury research and practice.
