Dr. Bara Alsalaheen, PT, PhD is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy with the University of Michigan, and a clinical researcher and the faculty director for the Sports Medicine Assessment and Rehabilitation Team (SMART). The SMART lab is located within the Physical Therapy department at UM-Flint. Dr. Alsalaheen is also a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and a licensed Physical Therapist at Michigan NeuroSport (Michigan Medicine).

Research Interests

Dr. Alsalaheen's areas of clinical and research interests include:
• Sports-related concussion, neck and spine injuries
• Neurodynamic risk factors of orthopedic and athletic injuries
• Cervicovestibular rehabilitation
• Learning Health Systems (LHS) and health services research
