Dr. Lisa Fedina is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Michigan. She is the Lead Faculty member for a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Interprofessional Responses to Intimate Partner Violence in Healthcare Settings funded by the University of Michigan Center for Academic Innovation.

Research Interests

Dr. Fedina’s research focuses on intimate partner and sexual violence and understanding structural factors (e.g., healthcare access, discrimination, economic insecurity) that perpetuate violence and health inequalities in marginalized and underserved communities. She is particularly interested in interventions that address shared risk and protective factors against violence across the life span, including child maltreatment, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and suicide.
