Dr. Michelle L. Munro-Kramer is an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Department of Health Behavior and Biological Sciences, University of Michigan School of Nursing. She is the Lead Faculty member for a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Interprofessional Responses to Intimate Partner Violence in Healthcare Settings funded by the University of Michigan Center for Academic Innovation.

Research Interests

Dr. Munro-Kramer’s research focuses on trauma, comprehensive care of vulnerable populations, and missed opportunities for care within domestic and international contexts. Her research projects approach these topics using a trauma-informed and patient-centered lens. Currently adapting and piloting a web-based app focused on healthy relationships and sexual violence using a life skills perspective at the University of Michigan. She is also working on adapting and piloting a primary prevention sexual violence intervention to the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.
