Biography

Yashashree is a Research Area Specialist Associate at the University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center. She works on the System for Opioid Overdose Surveillance (SOS), a statewide opioid overdose surveillance system, and Project SPARK, an R01 study focused on prospective prediction of firearm violence. She graduated from MCPHS University, Boston, MA with a Master of Public Health degree and has worked as a Health Care Policy Intern at American Action Forum, Washington D.C. Her prior work experience involved designing research projects and evaluating them, analyzing data, and transforming data into visualizations. Her interests include working on topics such as mental health, adolescent health, opioids overdose, and alcohol and substance abuse.
