Older Adult Falls

The U-M Injury Prevention Center has an increasing level of research focus and expertise in older adult falls. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, falls are the leading cause of both fatal and nonfatal injuries among older adults aged 65 or older. From funded exploratory studies to educational events, we are working to find ways to prevent older adult falls.
