New Scholarship/Funding Opportunity with American Public Health Association

Opportunity for Funding through the Injury Control and Emergency Health Services section

The Injury Control and Emergency Health Services (ICEHS) Presidents’ Road Safety Scholarship Fund is supported by leaders of national and international traffic safety organizations to help our student and early career professional members attend the American Public Health Association annual meeting. Through this fund, the ICEHS section provides awards of up to $500 to help offset the cost of registration and/or travel for the 2019 meeting. This support is intended for members of the ICEHS section. However, those who currently belong to another section of APHA may also join ICEHS and are then eligible to apply. Preference is given to applicants who are pursuing road safety topics.

To apply, please send the following information to Natalie Draisin, n.draisin@fiafoundation.org and Dave Swedler dswedler@pire.org no later than August 2. Please submit as a word doc, rather than in the body of an email. Awardees will be notified by August 6. (We are aware the early bird student registration deadline is August 8).
