Call for Registrations and Abstracts for the U-M Injury Prevention Center Second Annual Virtual Research Symposium
The U-M Injury Prevention Center (IPC) is excited to announce a call for registrations and abstracts for our second annual virtual research symposium, with the theme, “Using Technology to Advance Injury Prevention Surveillance, Interventions, and Training.” This unique event is a valuable opportunity for researchers, post-doctoral fellows, and students to disseminate research, facilitate new collaborations, and explore new ideas for injury prevention research. Attendees will learn the latest concepts in injury prevention science from our Center’s areas of focus.
Date: November 12, 2021
Time: 12:30pm – 5pm Eastern Time (with an optional in-person networking event from 8am – 10am (contingent of COVID-19 guidelines)
Location: Online Event (Links will be provided to registrants before the event.)
Cost: The event is free but registration is required.
Call for Abstracts:
Although the theme of the symposium is using technology to advance injury prevention work, we are accepting abstracts that focus on all aspects of injury prevention. If accepted, abstract presenters will be asked to give a 5-minute flash science presentation accompanied by no more than 4 slides during the virtual event; abstract presentations will be held in virtual breakout rooms.
