Biography

Nichole Burnside, M.B.A. is the Managing Director of the University of Michigan Injury Prevention Center, and has been a part of the University of Michigan since 2001. Before joining the Michigan Injury Prevention Center, Nichole worked as a Program Manager and Implementation Lead at the School of Public Health. Additionally, she worked at the Institute for Social Research as a Research Administrator and at the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR) as a Project Coordinator.

Research Interests

Ms. Burnside is involved in all of the core injury focus areas of the U-M IPC as part of her work as Managing Director. She has extensive experience integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into her portfolio of strategic leadership, research management, and community-engaged research.
